Montebello Restaurant and Brick Oven Pizza in Poughquag

I usually love montebellos and never have a problem, but today I ordered a pie for delivery and they told me it would take about 45 minutes. Over an hour and a half later I called to see what was taking so long and he told me the delivery guy had two deliveries to make. By the time I got my pizza it was cold and was not worth the wait. I was extremely disappointed.

Fantastic place! Excellent food and a nice atmosphere. Cannot recommend highly enough!

From one family to another, coming back from Florida to New York, This was a really good experience to have, again, true Italian meals at an affordable price with a bit of creativity in the menu ( when their chef is not on vacation). But I definitely give it a 5 star rating.

The people who work here are the nicest you'd ever wish to meet! The food is impeccable. Go here once and you get hooked! We absolutely love this place and everyone in it. They always strive to do a fantastic job with serving their customers.

Super friendly people. The veggie pizza was phenomenal. And the mozzarella sticks good too. Would absolutely come back here after my visit from Barton Orchards again.

Their food is absolutely delicious can't wait to have another type of pizza we head A margherita pie and it is almost as good if not better as a New York City pizzaria we had a couple months ago.

Every time I have dined here, ordered delivery or picked up food the experience has been great. The family who owns this establishment are some of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. The son, Anthony, is who I see the most and he’s great. A very personable kid, who wants the best for his customers. The prices are affordable, especially for the quality of the food! Crispy crust pizza, savory high quality dishes, and don’t even get me started on the fried calamari. I highly recommend eating here, you will not be disappointed !

Always a good meal, great service, cozy atmosphere

I came here because of the reviews on the google but food was too much below the standart.. its nothing about italian kitchen...Baked prosciutto on the pizza, overloaded with ricotta... anyway service was good and nice and clean place..

Im Not from this area, i looked online for a place to eat and came across montebellos while out here for the day, the staff was awesome , they accommodated 5 adults and 9 children, FAST . Kids were eating within 10 minutes. Awesome place thanks. 👌

Food is great and the service is wonderful

From western NY, but my in laws live right around the conner. Popped in last night and the service and food was amazing. Our waiter who I think is the owner’s son was super nice! And the food, OMG easily in the top 10 pizza of my life. Took some home and eating it now still SO good!

This is honestly one of my favorite places ever. Wonderful meal with the best best, scratch made foods I've ever had. They treat you like family and are all very kind. I can't recommend this place enough. Must try!!!

Best Pizza in the area. I went a few times when they first opened ordered all types of food but wasn't impressed. The food was just ok. Tried it again the other day, we order chicken parmesan dinner, pepperoni roll and a large pie, all of the food was really great. I would say the best in the area. I'm so happy the other restaurant was unable to hear me and I tried Montebello again! The staff is friendly and seems like a family run business.

They gave me a large instead of a personal pizza, made my day!

Normally I could give 5 stars however I ordered chicken sorrentino and instead of a white wine cream sauce I got red grease sauce. I don't see where I can attach a pic from here.

Everything I've ever had here is absolutely delicious not to mention when you come here, its like being with family, always make you feel welcome! We have had bridal showers and birthday parties here and I can't imagine having it anywhere else ❤

This was such a great experience! The staff was super friendly, they made u feel at home. Everything tasted homemade! I definitely recommend them.

Nice food at a great value price. The meals are good rather than spectacular, but once again the price is great. Service is good family restaurant style. Dad comes around and says hello, while the son brings the food around and takes the order. The only thing to truly avoid is the espresso, which is a cold dank shadow of it's dream self. Decor and atmosphere are just ok, but it is a pizza joint first.
